Description: Start-up Track is for motivated students who seek customized personal development. Through Start-up Track, you’ll be paired with a mentor who will work with you one on one to master adulting. We’ll share helpful tips, tools, and resources so you can build confidence in your ability to organize, manage your time, network, do self-care, or whatever else you need to succeed.
Requirements:
You’ll be successful if: you know how you want to improve or what’s holding you back, and are open to receiving warm, supportive feedback and suggestions. You’re willing to share your struggles with a trusted mentor and try out new strategies to make your day-to-day challenges feel manageable.
Stipends: Each Start-Up Track participant who successfully completes their track requirements, as assessed by their mentor, will receive a professional development stipend of $100 at the conclusion of the academic year, to be used for their continued growth.
Ideal Participant Profile: You’re driven, reflective, open to coaching and wanting to hone your execution skills. You’re struggling to balance the weight of everything on your plate, and want to set yourself up for future success.
Application Process: Applications for the 2020-2021 academic year will open in Spring 2020. For more information, email Emily.
Requirements:
- Design Tribe Retreats: Start-up Track participants agree to attend a mandatory on-boarding retreat (tentative date: September 7th - 9th, 2019) and a mandatory mid-year retreat (date TBD, January 2020). Travel and accommodations will be provided by SF Hillel.
