Our building is open every day from 9 am - 5 pm, with free coffee, tea, snacks, printing, a library full of Jewish texts and books about Israel, and hammocks to relax in between classes. Come in to see all we have to offer!
The easiest way to get involved is to simply show up, no prior experience necessary. We can't wait to meet you! Can't find what you're looking for? Our community experiences are student-designed.

our professional team to turn your idea into a reality.
Color Key:
Orange events are hosted by SF Hillel.
Grey events are local programs in the community.

An important note about accessibility: our Hillel house is an awesome space for students, but it comes with stairs. We are committed to inclusion and are able to make alternate event accommodations with advance notice. SF Hillel welcomes persons with disabilities and will provide reasonable accommodations upon request. If you need any reasonable accommodations for an event, please contact Sarah at srosemont@sfhillel.org as soon as possible so your request may be reviewed. All of Hillel's on-campus events are ADA accessible. We deeply regret the barrier our stairs cause.

We are overjoyed to be back in our Hillel home at 33 Banbury, and meeting our communities of students on campus at SF State, USF, UC Hastings and UCSF and across the city. In order to protect the health and safety of our Hillel students, staff, and volunteers, and in accordance with recommendations from the CDC and alignment with our campuses and city, San Francisco Hillel requires COVID-19 vaccinations in order to participate in any Hillel-sanctioned event, meeting, or gathering, and/or when occupying any Hillel office space, building or other rented location.

Our COVID-19 policies are reviewed regularly to take into consideration evolving recommendations. We reserve the right to change these policies at any time.

All students, staff, and volunteers are required to sign and submit the COVID safety Brit/Covenant prior to attending an in-person program.
