Description: Help shape the future of SF Hillel, and represent your fellow students, by serving on its Board of Directors. SF Hillel is a non-profit organization, and its board helps set the long-term direction for how we support students. We are looking for one student from each of the following schools to sit on our Board and speak on behalf of your fellow students (and yourself!): SF State, USF, UC Hastings and UCSF. You will get to meet high profile community members and learn how a non-profit organization works, while also having your voice heard!
Requirements :
You’ll be successful if: You like thinking “Big Picture” and are interested in the long-term success of SF Hillel, both at your school and across the city. You’re available Monday nights (once per month or less) from 6pm-8.30pm.
Ideal Candidate Profile: You like to listen, but you are also comfortable speaking up (this is a skill we can work with you on if it doesn’t come naturally!) You are willing to think independently, want to network with interesting people, and want non-profit board experience which you can put on your resume.
Application process: Applications for the 2020-2021 academic year will open in Spring 2020. For more information, email Emily.
Requirements :
