Our Campuses

San Francisco State University

As a registered student organization (RSO) at SF State, SF Hillel is a connector for a variety of Jewish experiences, events and micro-communities. Our team is eager to meet you!

Schedule time with Sarah if you're looking to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea (on us!) while sharing your thoughts and feelings about life on campus and how Hillel can support you.

If you're looking to learn, check out the esteemed Department of Jewish Studies at SF State, devoted to the history, religion, culture, and contributions of the Jewish people. Attracting a diverse group of students from many racial and ethnic backgrounds, the department offers a bachelor's degree in modern Jewish studies and a minor in Jewish studies. SF State's Division of Diversity Equity and Community Inclusion is responsible for leading, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating a broad range of sustained programs, initiatives, events, and activities designed to:

  • facilitate intercultural/intergroup dialogue,

  • promote equity and inclusion,

  • advance social justice, and

  • improve campus climate for all of our students.
