Student activists always have, and always will, change the world for the better. Find friends who share your passions and questions, and get ready to roll up your sleeves with SF Hillel to volunteer, discuss, and organize in pursuit of Tikkun Olam, repairing of the world.

In the past few years our students have supported community building efforts in Costa Rica and Brooklyn, as well as responded to natural disaster relief work in Santa Rosa, Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. We also routinely find ways to get involved in our own backyard, doing our small part to make San Francisco a better place. While it may feel hard to volunteer during the pandemic, check out or Hillel @ Home page for at home or distanced Volunteer activities.
