Jewish Studies and Social Justice Program
For USF's Law school, the Jewish Law Students Association brings together Jews, allies, and friends, regardless of religious affiliation or cultural association. Focused on creating community based around Jewish culture and tradition, the JLSA provides events and opportunities to celebrate and share Jewish holidays and resources. USF's University Ministry Center for Ignatian Spirituality builds strong interfaith coalitions and provides space for students as individuals to explore a variety of faith traditions. Providing social justice volunteer opportunities, immersion programs, spirituality retreats, University Ministry is designed to support an inclusive community that is contemplative in its search for truth and meaning. In addition, University Ministry provides beautiful space for the JSO to host it's monthly Shabbat dinners and a relaxing lounge for students between classes. As an affiliate minister, Rachel can help you navigate how to get more involved with University Ministry happenings.
